Creepy and yet so true!
Thank you for demonstrating that I am not alone! No fewer than five Christians have told me over the years that if it were not for the Bible that they would kill everything in sight! As a matter of fact, I included this in a treatise I wrote in 1998 rebutting the comments of a co-worker friend of mine who said this very thing. In the end, such comments are made to somehow be a stab at non-belief but are moreso reflective upon the depraved state of the one making the comment as it reveals their true feelings toward their fellow human beings. Ha, upon my questioning, I even got my co-worker Christian friend to say that the only reason he loves his wife is because he is commanded to do so. He really had no other choice but to take that position since loving for any other reason would open the door to validating a secular morality.
Great video, Deadlogic. Perhaps I will post my old rebuttal to my blog at some point.
